In addition to the POS side, make sure your program uses an isolation
level of at least CS if using SQL...
For RPG RLA, use STRCMTCTL LCKLVL(*CS) and open the file under
commitment control.
Your program will either see no records or all records.
Lastly, see if the POS side can be changed to insert the records in
one shot; which will be faster than inserting one at a time.
