The price for RDP has increased to $913 a seat.

If you have trouble with that link, use the link below and click on the green "Ready to buy" button on the right side of the page:

http://www-01.ibm.com/software/rational/products/rdp/

Even though it says above the button that a user license is $416, that's for an initial fixed term license, which seems to have a one-year limit. After that fixed term you would have to pay the full price again, instead of just renewing the SWMA (which, as Joe points out in one of his articles, is usually 20% of list). The $913 license is perpetual (a one-time charge).

The supported product is RDP, Rational Developer for Power. It costs the same as ADTS (SEU and PDM to you and me) at $795 a seat. You can download a 60-day trial to see what it does for you. A couple of articles of mine:

If you are an SEU person, and want not to be any longer, what does one need?
RSE, WDSC?
