Doesn't seem right. On none of my 10 lpars is my next hop the same as my
i's static address. It's always the IP address of the router the i
attaches to.

From my i:

NETSTAT *IFC
Internet Network Line Interface
Address Address Description Status
10.10.1.194 10.10.1.0 LANLINSYS Active

NETSTAT *RTE
Route Subnet Next Route
Destination Mask Hop Available
*DFTROUTE *NONE 10.10.1.1 *YES
My router address is 10.10.1.1.
See also CFGTCP, 2. Work with TCP/IP routes

TRACEROUTE GDSL61 which is my pc name
Probing possible routes to GDSL61.dekko-1 (10.10.8.237) using *ANY
interface.
1 gdslan-v1 (10.10.1.1) 1.83 0.788 0.694
2 gdsl61 (10.10.8.237) 0.260 0.296 0.312
Tells me that it goes out through my router 10.10.1.1 and to my pc at
10.10.8.237
and if I trace a route to a PC at another office:
traceroute ptint
Probing possible routes to PTINT.dekko-1 (10.17.4.180) using *ANY
interface.
1 gdslan-v1 (10.10.1.1) 1.18 0.811 1.67
2 gdswan-p1-9 (10.10.0.10) 0.266 0.330 0.308
3 albt-g0-0-803 (10.7.0.241) 0.673 0.496 0.515
4 avcm-t310 (10.20.0.241) 1.03 0.872 0.897
5 grrt-t320 (10.17.0.241) 7.17 9.70 7.75
6 grrtlan-v9 (10.17.0.9) 2.59 2.14 2.10
7 ptint (10.17.4.180) 1.40 1.47 1.47
Tells me it goes out through the router to our wide area thingy(gdswan),
through our albion tower, through our avilla plant, to our Garrett plant
to the Garrett router then to the PC.

PC DOS spells traceroute as tracert, if you want to try that from your PC.

It really looks like some killed your local dns and set it all to go
through comcast.
