Subject: Systems Communications Question
Sent by: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Folks,

We upgraded to a Power 7 8202 (model E4B) last year and I just realized
no phone line ever got connected to the RS-232 port. Since then we've
moved to VOIP and a bunch of phone lines got dropped.

So I was wondering and thought I'd heard that IBM stuff that used a
modem could do it via IP now.

Case in point Q1PLIN (Performance Monitor). I try to vary that on and it
fails with Resource "blank" is already in use.

What do I do?

Thanks!

Chuck
