I 3rd Joe's suggestion. I have the following CL programs:

DFLTAPLUS - Change defaults on Abstract/Probe print files
DFLTCMDP - Change defaults on commands after new release
DFLTGN# - Change defaults on ProGen Plus command(s)
DFLTOTH - Change defaults on other stuff after new release
DFLTPRTF - Change defaults on print files after new release
DFLTTAA - Change defaults on TAATOOLS print files

I also have a job scheduler job that runs these every night at 10pm, 7 days
a week. It takes only minutes to run and if any PTF has messed with what I
want, it gets fixed that night.

Joe is right on with this suggestion. The other thing to add is print
file changes. I can't count how many OS upgrades I've done where the
first complaint is things don't print "right". Changes have been made
to IBM print files and not recorded causing the problem.

Just as a matter of thoroughness, I would also put all those CHGSBSD
commands into a CL program with a name like CFGPOOLS in my system source
library. That way you have it as a reference if things get changed. I
try to do this for all sorts of things like job queues, system values,
TCP/IP attributes and so on.

Thanks Jim, and all...

I have cleaned up my SBS descriptions, and they now look as expected.

I am attempting to clean up what pool management I have done so far.
I expect to upgrade my 8GB to 24GB shortly, but I do want to get
*BASE
cleaned up...
