Sam,

I recently had the same problem and Frank Hildebrandt graciously helped me
out. Check the archives for: WDSCI-L Digest, Vol. 10, Issue 18, to see his
reply.

subject: TN5250J on WDSC: Could not send save file to host

I've installed TN5250J in WDSC 7 running on Vista. So far, it looks good
and I can open a 5250 session.

But I have one issue when I try to transfer the TN5250J library.

I get this in the transfer window:
Sending save file to host
!!! Could not send save file to host !!!

If I look at the connection job on the iSeries I see this:
Job 274555/QUSER/QZRCSRVS started on 01/23/12 at 21:18:05 in subsystem
QUSRWRK in QSYS. Job entered system on 01/23/12 at 21:18:05.
User xxxxxxxxxx from client 192.168.5.65 connected to server.
Library QSYS2924 added to library list.
Client request - run command CHKOBJ.
Object TN5250J in library QSYS not found.
Client request - run command CHKOBJ.
Object TN5250J in library QGPL not found.
Client request - run command CRTSAVF.
File TN5250J created in library QGPL.
Client request - run command DLTF.
Object TN5250J in QGPL type *FILE deleted.

User id xxxxxxxxxx is in the QSECOFR group so it should not be an
authority issue. There are no disk space issues.

WDSC is version 7.0.0, build 20070202_0030.

OS is V7R1 and current on PTFs as of November.

Any ideas what might be wrong?
