I put that PTF on. The results of
select *
from sysdiskstat
is a spitting image of WRKDSKSTS. Which, I guess, kicks butt out of
writing an API to get that information if you wanted it in a program.

Makes me wonder if it's really a UDT into that API. Well, one of the
columns tells you right out if it's SSD or not.

Read the url provided earlier for the column descriptions.

The other QSYS2 approaches are what I used earlier to get what tables and
indexes are on SSD's. Stumped IBM when I asked them how to tell what
stream files were on SSD though.

Gee, if you tie these all together can you get a S/36 VTOC? LOL
