CREATE TABLE supports UNIT SSD or UNIT ANY
CRTPF and CHGPF support UNIT(*SSD). A value of 255 is equivalent to
specifying *SSD.
The text for UNIT(*SSD) is "Preferred storage unit" so that's where I got
that verbiage from. Until SSD's came in UNIT was being deprecated. In
fact I don't know if the values are ignored EXCEPT for 255. Let's face
it, my WRKDSKSTS (due to swap outs and system upgrades) has a 1 and then
91-141 and we're not the biggest boy on the block so I suspect that
somewhere is someone who has 255+ units.
This lpar has 58B0 SSD's and 140GB 433C's.
