Why don't they? Two reasons in order of importance.
1) Microsoft will not support it, period. IBM tried to get them to. Even offered to pay for the porting.
2) Customers have not demanded it.

I don't think there's enough turd polish in the world to make that idea fly. (It might *attract* some flies, but . . . .)

And speaking of which, running WinDoze on an AS/400 is kind of like saying "turd" on television: who WANTS to?
