... its not a problem of name versus position, its an issue of binding at Compiletime. Name resolution is done at compile time (during the binding step) and it's fixed to a procedure pointer and an adress of the procedure, resolved by a position in a list. Using the same SRVPGM, binding at runtime by QLEAWI (we have had this in another discussion) the problems will disappear...
