Interesting. The alternative would be to artificially come out with a
5886 look alike for SSD's only. Since you can't put SSD's and HDD's both
in one anyway (I think) it would have been an easy sneak.

What is the MMC for 58B0?
What was/is the list price for them?
Has it already gotten to the point where the MMC is going up encouraging
you to either move back to HDD or to move to newer SSD's?

Customer view point on increased maintenance charges: IBM is jacking up
maintenance prices when new hardware is announced to encourage sales "see,
we can save you all this maintenance".
IBM's view point: We came out with new hardware. The manufacturer sees
the writing on the wall and retooled for the new hardware. Now we either
can't get, or have to pay a premium for, replacement parts for older
stuff.
