You are getting that because you are trying to do a manual IPL and it must find the console around C600450x. If it doesn't it displays that SRC. Now, you can also get that if your console is not defined correctly. For example, you are using an HMC but have the console defined in SST/DST as twinax or anything but the HMC. This is same if you have any other combo where it isn't true.

Why do you need to do a manual IPL? If you don't change the M to an N when you are in 02, and it will come up. Now, if you do need to do a Manual IPL, then where is your console (as well as what is your console). Make sure it is on before you IPL.

Subject: IPL Panel error A6005008

I am receiving the following error on my V7R1M0 system after an IPL.
Apparently this message conveys that the console is not attached. I have no physical console, Am having trouble doing a manual IPL from the panel.

The way that I understand it, I need to:

1. navigate to function 02,
2. Press Enter
3. Select B
4. Press Enter
5. Select M
6. Press Enter twice
7. Press the power button twice.

When doing so, the panel displays the following:

01 B M V=H
T

And the system does not restart.

Thanks in advance for the advice or link to more detailed instructions.
