Tomasz,

I've worked on a problem this week with strong unit testing that it worked
flawlessly, however it failed in system production and, near as I can
figure, a variable was having other variable data in it. I didn't quite
track it down but implemented a hack. So, I feel your pain as to how come
it behaves differently outside of unit testing.

As to why... I supposed it could be any number of things including, but
not limited to:
- Test data has different characters?
- Test data has different ccsid?
- Or, more likely, the job has a different ccsid?
- Multiple versions of the udf?
- if the udf calls rpg, then multiple versions of the rpg program?
