If you want to do it in RPG, feel free to request a trial of our RPG2SQL product.
The RPG2Excel functionality allows any RPG program to read/write Excel spreadsheets.
I thought Client Access transfer would work for this as well or export to CSV and us CPYFRMIMPF.
