I have a client whose software vendor offers the same kind of thing. The
problem is that they charge so much that my client took my recommendation
and bought another machine and some HA software to go with it. The payback
calculated out to be about 29 months.

Has anyone on the list had any experience with a product named EVault?
Sungard is trying to sell it to us as a cloud based solution for both DR
and daily backups.
From what I could figure out during the call, it appears that after a
full backup performed onsite, we would then send incremental changes
'over the wire' to an appliance at a Sungard site. From the sales pitch
it sounded pretty good.
