Yep that's what I meant. Man I was buried in the weeds. Actually had the
Duplicate Commands menu up and was messing with the Copy commands and
there is the DUPTAP waiting at the bottom...

OK so when I specify the tape that has the library object on it and tell
it to dup it to my virtual tape unit I get:

Device TAPVRT01 not ready.

And it shows varied on

?

Assuming "library" means the external object type *LIB... DUPTAP
would seem to appropriate to duplicate the sequence number which is the
library of interest.?
