"It works - why fix it?" is how my dad felt about changing oil. Why pour
out oil and replace it when the engine still worked?
I wish more 3rd party applications were sticklers about staying current
with maintenance of the OS. I'd rather do business with someone who says
they'll support r next upon GA date (if not earlier) than someone who says
they still support V2R1.
Infor's statement of support is V5R4 or higher. Of course, I had to kick
them with a frozen boot when they sent me a fresh bmr compiled prior to
V5R1 for a machine running 6.1; but that was quite some time ago.
