In the presentations I have attended, there was a live chat feature as well where attendees could ask questions. There is some interaction available. Being that the costs to travel across the country is nearly the same as the cost to attend the conference, this is the most likely way for me to be able to attend. Not to mention the fact that, in my current family situation, it is very difficult for me to travel.

I didn't know that. Not sure there's any benefit to that over just doing a web cast - at least for those who are on the remote end.
