RE: Doing remote journals to the cloud

Of your 250MB internet connection how much is allocated to voice, etc?
Will your cloud provider have a like connection? How much of their
connection will also be allocated to servicing other clients? For
example, how long does it take you to download the image catalogs from IBM
containing the latest cume and all of the latest groups? What size is
that?

The comm to our Kendallville office is smoking hot. We have a dual
redundant fiber (thanks to the local hospital down the street). We also
have a wireless connection to various towers. We only have 3 full time
employees in here (including me). The building next door goes up in a no
reserve auction tomorrow. The comm at our main plant in Garrett isn't
near as nice. In fact, when they were going to upgrade their wireless we
thought of stopping remote journalling during the project because the
secondary line could probably not carry the load of that and Domino and
voice, etc. (Voice routes through Kendallville.) Kendallville used to be
the main office.

I've gotten back into the habit of getting cumes and groups on media just
because it was less hassle than comm.
