We have a home-brew utility, CHGOUTQENT. It displays the outq to print, copies it back to a database file (Yes, I know it should use the API, but it's been around a while). We then pick and choose which entries to move to a different queue-- by date, generic date, form type, job/user/number, user data, etc. Once the files are in an isolated outq, clear the outq.
