A quick test returned these results:
1) Edit --> Close All does not appear
to close results returned in a

2) After repeated run --> close results
window cycles one particular
SELECT lock became "persistent"
and was released only upon close
of the Run SQL Scripts session
(opening a different script file
did not release the lock)
This SELECT was creating some derived/
calculated fields with a combination
of SUBSTR, CASE and DEC
