If you are on OS lvl lower than v5r2 you'll have to find and replace all +=, -= etc to field = field + , etc...

to recreate the user space service program you can compile the CRTTOOL CL and call it to rebuild the objects. then you can just recompile the
ADDMSGNEP
KILLMSGNEP
SNDMSGWAIT
programs. (if not using MMAIL you'll have to make your mods...)
