Larry, I think Rob wants to change HTTP stuff - the IP addresses, if any, in the Apache config files.

It isn't usually necessary even to have any IP addresses there, but it is certainly an option.

There is also the QUSRSYS/QATMHINSTC file - it has a member for each Apache instance - these should NOT be modified, but they do contain the path to the httpd.conf files.

At least that's the way I always go about it and it shouldn't take
but 5 minutes to complete. Editing the config files (QUSRSYS/QATOC* )
is not in my estimation 'best plan'.

Do it all at the console in restricted state as you suggest. DO
remember to remove the old 'local' IP addresses or as soon as they come
up you'll lose communications back to where the system formerly sat.
Don't ask me how I know this. :-)

We will be moving a machine from on site to off site. Once it is at the
off site location I plan on bringing it up in restricted state and
changing numerous IP addresses stored all over.

Is there some way to get into the configuration files normally accessed by
http://mysystemi:2001/HTTPAdmin from 5250?
