You can add a *HOST routing entry, this will force all TCP/IP traffic
to IP_OF_DEST (not just telnet) to use INTERFACE_TO_USE:
ADDTCPRTE RTEDEST(IP_OF_DEST) SUBNETMASK(*HOST)
NEXTHOP(INTERFACE_TO_USE)

If this is just for a single job, you could create the step, run the
job, then drop it with RMVTCPRTE.
