Yes you are good, your cache is cleared. Power down. Remove Dead guy. Spend 5 minutes with battery disconnected (Important so card knows the battery has changed.) Connect new guy. Power up.

Unfortunately, I can't seem to find my notes about the BATTERYINFO macro. This system is still at V5R1 to support some clients on old hardware so option 9 in the Hardware service manager isn't available to me.
