Yes you can. The server side (the service) stays the same. But in the
client, you just specify your service with the keyword @Dedicated,
rather than with a URL. Not only that, the service is automatically
deployed with your Rich UI project. It works fantastically. I can't
believe how fast and easy it is to build and deploy EGL applications. I
hope I can update my EGL book one of these days to include the dedicated
service stuff.

By the way, you shouldn't have to add a bunch of entires in your build
descriptor. You can specify the program as * and then put in the
library, and it will call all your programs from that library. Very,
very slick.

If you really want to continue this on midrange.com, move it to the EGL
list. That's where we've been assigned.

This example is not calling any iseries programs (rpg for example). Can
you
still have a dedicated service that "calls" rpg? Im used to using soap and
having to add a bunch of entries in my build descriptor.
