I think Autoload really means when in Seq. Mode and a Unload is given that
it Autoloads the next cart. in seq. Might also work different in Library
Mode.

I just loaded up our drive and it is set to auto load, but did not ;-(
Let me know if you get it working and I will do the same. But I am
taking the next couple of days off for a soccer tournament in Vegas.

Thanks. I'm hoping I've missed a setting. I'm still reading :-) I would
HOPE inserting the cartridge holder would do that as they seem to
indicate but it doesn't. I'm trying to avoid having to train some non-IT
person to do the load via the GUI when I'm off (I'm the only IT person
here...).

And thanks for the labeling tip' that is one heck of a find and I
appreciate it!

Chuck

No on the auto load. Missed that so I will have to check that out. Yes
on the bar codes. I found a web site to generate a PDF of Bar code
labels. http://tapelabels.librelogiciel.com/ I purchased the Avery
#6571 labels and created a couple of sheets. As we purchase the tapes,
we put a bar code label on them.

Cool thanks. And I had totally overlooked that disable loopback option
or probably more accurately didn't realize what it was :-)

It is now using tape 1 and unloading it. Loading tape 2 and unloading it
and that's it :-)

That's probably a good way of doing it (the control panel deal).

I have it set to Autoload but it doesn't do that have you seen that?

And are you using bar codes?
