I turned mail off on my system some years ago when I moved my mail server to a windows based email server. I have been using the command on other systems, but it will not work on my system. The command completes normally but I do not get the emails.

SNDDST TYPE(*LMSG) TOINTNET((dfreinkel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx)) DSTD(FF) MSG(GGGGG) LONGMSG(GGGGE) SUBJECT(DDDDDDDDDD)

I need to use the SNDDST command or similar command to send out emails to myself for jobs that are failing, like a message to QSYSOPR.

I have started STRMSF and TCP Server *SMTP and have attempted to send out some test messages/emails.

Can anyone help with ideas on what I should check?

Thank you.
