Jeff,

Use (green-screen) CMPPFM, option(*RPGSRCCOL ). It checks only columns from
6 to 74.

Is anyone aware of a source compare utility that can ignore columns 1 - 5
of the
record and compare the rest?

I have a source member that was corrupted when a problem occured with RDI
and it
put the change flag that I had specified in the preferences in every
record.

I have a prior version of the program, but the existing source compare
utilities
will flag every record as different.

I need to be able to determine which records were actually affected by the
change.
