As if knowledge of a need to circumvent is of no consequence, and as if the circumvention can be assumed valid even for lack of explanation for any requirement to use TYPE IMAGE.... Seems that [for continued lack of any response] an easily diagnosed difficulty [i.e. review of output from QUOTE RCMD DSPJOBLOG] will indeed "remain a mystery." :-(
