Having the windows 'snap' to certain sizes is actually helpful for
me. I pick a window size that I can deal with, then I stack the
windows for both of our systems on top of each other. I'll pull up a
configuration of something on both systems. Then I can 'flip'
between them (ALT+TAB) and compare things-- the things that don't
match 'blink.'
If the screens snap to certain sizes it's easy to make them line up!
