FYI - when displaying a file in IFS from WRKLNK with option 5, you can press F10 to see the hexadecimal of the file.

Pretty cool - doesn't work in EDTF (opt 2), as I recall.

You would guess right. I counted up all of the field lengths (again) on
the file layout I am working off of. It turns out that I had mis-counted
two characters of unused fields that were blank-filled near the end. Thus,
I was populating 2998 characters of a 3000 position record. It must have
defaulted to nulls for the last two positions and nulls don't show up when
you are displaying a file with WRKLNK. The place that we are sending this
file to claims that they only want a CR at the end of the record instead
of a CR and LF that is currently being used. I did find eol characters in
your IFSTEXTR4. I hope that they like it now because we use your IFSEBOOK
for other things and I would prefer not to have to create a second,
modified copy just for this application.
