Steve after you move to v7.1 have a look at 5770TS1 IBM Transform Services.

I did not look to hard for documentation, but it is a fairly easy way to create PDF's using an OVRPRTF.

I have been tasked with determining the best way for us to convert certain

spooled file to PDF files and either posting them to an internal web page or

emailing them to users.

It is also possible that some of the spooled files will contain double-byte

information.

We have Create!Form, which I know can convert spooled files and email them,

but I know that there are various other ways to do the PDF conversion.

However, I would like to compile and aggregate information about the various

ways that it can be done, perhaps with pros and cons, and post it on a

midrange wiki page to make this easier for others who might have a similar

requirement in the future.

I am open to all responses, including vendor solutions...

Steve
