I am going to go in on this with you, as Al was a very good friend. I will match whatever midrange.com contributes to the COMMON Education Foundation (CEF). So, now when people donate to the CEF for the Al Barsa Memorial Scholarship, their contribution will be double matched.

As many of you know, the COMMON Education Foundationâs Al Barsa Memorial Scholarship is very important to me.
A discussion thread on MIDRANGE-L was the impetus for the scholarship and midrange.com has made a yearly contribution.
This year, however, I want to try something different.
Iâm going to borrow something from public broadcasting â and do a CHALLENGE grant.
A challenge grant is pretty simple â for every dollar contributed by other people, midrange.com will also contribute a dollar (up to a maximum of $300). This challenge is going to run today until December 24th.
Because this is somewhat spur of the moment, I wasnât able to setup a formal mechanism to handle this â so Iâm going to use the honor method of verifying contribution. Email me directly and tell me how much you are going to contribute and midrange.com will match it.
