This is not a function of Client Access, but rather how the field is defined in
the DDS.
If the field is not defined with an edit code, the system will place the sign
over the right most digit resulting in a letter being displayed. (The sign field
is a zone of D. When combined with the digit portion, it results in a letter)

Subject: negative numbers in Client Access

When entering a negative number, we use the - key on the numeric keypad
part of the keyboard. When doing so, the
number and/or sign will change to a letter, or the {, or some other
character. Is there some setting in client access,
iSeries access, System I Access, etc. to prevent this?
