I think a few years back I had to do this so it could be imported into a
bouncy castle server, I think all you need to do is put the .pfx extension on
it when exporting and that does the trick. If it's what I'm thinking it
does not need a conversion to any special format. I do also remember you need
to watch the way you ftp it of the iseries.

you can tell if its good if you pc recognizes it as a cert

It was a while back and the memory gets worse every year!
