Not trying to scare anyone. And I use image catalogues exclusively; they are great.
I do two [2] full backups simply because I'm paranoid (and even paranoids have real enemies). The full system backup takes a little over and hour to the best of my memory. I meant to add (but hit Enter too soon) that, while I schedule all of this for eight hours, it usually takes less than four [4]. Except for the time a few years ago when the system proc checked and I had to call Rochester. And that was on the production machine the weekend after successfully installing the same cume and groups on the backup machine (had nothing to do with the Link Loader). Weird things happen.
