STRPCCMD doesn't use rexec. It works by sending a specially-formatted
screen to your 5250 emulator, the emulator sees this special screen and
runs the command (but does not try to display the screen to the user.)

It's a part of the existing 5250 session you already have open.

Therefore:

1) the rexec server is irrelevant.
2) firewall can't be the problem (unless 5250 is also not working)

I wonder if you're confusing STRPCCMD with RUNRMTCMD? (RUNRMTCMD uses
rexec and could be affected by a firewall.)

Plus, Michael has already posted the solution to his problem... (He was
using a relative path name instead of an absolute one, so when Windows
defaulted to another directly, it failed to find his file.)
