A google search for two words (ftp and 425) returned several hits, that
describe the error and what to do about it. Hint: Try passive mode first.

I am trying to FTP a save file from c:\Temp location on my PC to the
iseries library TEST10 .Both savf have the same names on the PC and I
series.

The FTP command is failing with error '425 Not able to open data
connection'.I am pasting below the log of FTP Command:

C:\Documents and Settings\dwheeler>ftp gcs
Connected to gcs.USA.GN.
220-QTCP at 10.46.52.13.
220 Connection will close if idle more than 5 minutes.
User (gcs.USA.GN:(none)): dwheeler
331 Enter password.
Password:
230 DWHEELER logged on.
ftp> quote site namefmt 1

ftp> cd /qsys.lib/test10.lib
250 "/QSYS.LIB/TEST10.LIB" is current library.
ftp> lcd c:\Temp
Local directory now C:\Temp.
ftp> BINARY
200 Representation type is binary IMAGE.
ftp> PUT syslogd.savf
200 PORT subcommand request successful.
425 Not able to open data connection.

Can someone please help me and let me know what the issue is.
