In many unixy shell environments there is a command history ... although it's pretty weak (just lists the command that was executed, nothing else).

Unfortunately, this isn't supported in qshell (http://midurl.com/qshdiff or http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v5r4/topic/rzahz/differ.htm)

The PASE shell (QP2TERM) appears to log commands to the .sh_history file in your home directory.
