I have an IFS folder with *PUBLIC having full access. If I sign on my PC with an account that DOES NOT exist on the AS/400, it will not let me delete entries in the folder
via windows explorer.

It seems *PUBLIC is a catch all, but just for users that try to access the folder that have an AS/400 user profile. Correct?

If that is true, then do you have to give authority using the GUEST profile? And I guess if you have no GUEST profile setup, the PC user cannot delete?

The read/write attribute on the share does not seem to make a difference either.
