Subject: AS/400 Help No disks
Hi,
I recently acquired an AS/400e Series v5 r2. I have been having a lot of
problems starting up the system. I know I have all the necessary hardware
but the problem is I have no service disks or tapes. When I try to run a
regular IPL, I get a SCR: 27409010 which means that I need to reclaim the
cache. I then try to boot into the IPL Manual D (to be able to access the
DST) but I get the SCR: B1014507. I am almost positive this is due to the
fact that I don't have any service discs. I am pretty sure that I need the
LIC Disc. I was able to get the V5R2 install disc but that doesn't really
help. I have all the license keys and everything but IBM is not being very
helpful and I have no where else to go.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
