I believe you will find that they are CMMDDYY fields.

I **believe** you will also find that if you change your job's date format
(CHGJOB DATFMT()), you will get output more suited to sorting. I have not
tested this lately, however, and cannot right now.

Having said that, you may find the APIs (QUSROBJD in this case) better
suited to this sort of thing. But it depends upon your level of
API-guruness. :)

Some time ago, Vern turned me on to using DSPOBJD to an outfile, to
generate a list of objects with their datestamps.

Only problem is that the important datestamps (creation and change) are
simple character fields in MMDDYY format, which makes any sorts on
those
fields meaningless.

Anybody know of an easy way to deal with this?
