I just installed 7.1 on several lpars. I put the latest cume and groups
on. Afterwards they all had something in common.
CHKPRDOPT PRDID(*OPSYS)
fails with:
CPF0C20 - Errors found by CHKPRDOPT.
F10=Display messages in job log
CPF36BC - Required PTF 5770SS1-SI37877 V7R1M0 not in correct status for
PTF 5770SS1-SI37171 V7R1M0.

To make a long story short a simple
APYPTF LICPGM(5770SS1) SELECT(SI38389 SI37877) APY(*PERM)
fixed it. Reran CHKPRDOPT PRDID(*OPSYS) and that passed.

No additional IPL required.
