We are trying to FTP a file from a zVSE system to an iseries system (both
EBCDIC). This file contains packed fields. The FTP works fine until it
encounters an X'15' character (NL) in one of the packed fields which creates
a new record on the file.

Has anyone transferred data containing packed fields and how did you get
around issues like the new line character x'15'

Thanks
