In Wikipedia you will find decent descriptions on the following

a. IBM WebSphere MQ (MQ series)
b. IBM WebSphere Message Broker (MQ broker)

MQ integrator is what MQ broker was formerly called.

Subject: Differences, Relationships between MQ series, MQ broker and
MQintegrator

Dear All,

A small question that might be very easy...

What is the difference & relationship between the following:

MQ series

MQ broker

MQ integrator

I know that they all are used for the inter-communication between
applications on the same platform or on different platforms.but I don't know
the major differences or the relationships between them...

Could you please advice me...

Thanks in advance,

Best regards

Dina
