The way I did it was to modify the Workstation name entries for the interactive subsystems to not allow them to connect:


Work station name . . . . . . . . : QPADEV*
Job description . . . . . . . . . : *USRPRF
Library . . . . . . . . . . . . :
Maximum active jobs . . . . . . . : *NOMAX
Control job at . . . . . . . . . : *ENTER

This assumes that you don't have your iSeries Access clients connecting with that naming scheme.
