I'm looking for an API that will give me a list of user profiles currently
signed on to the system. I have to support back to V5R3, so I started
with the API documentation for that release level. I don't see an API
specifically for this purpose. Do I need to find the active subsystems
and then list the jobs that are active and work back from there?

Any suggestions?

I don't want to run the WRKACTJOB command to print and read the spool file
as that can get you into trouble when supporting multiple release levels.
