We're in the process of migrating Notes back onto the i and IBM is suggesting that we set up LPARs to support clustering of the mail servers. I found a V5R4 Redbook on LPAR configuration, but nothing for V6R1. I did find the standard manual (Power Systems Logical Partitioning) but was hoping to find a Redbook/Redpiece.

We have a HMC (v7.3.5) attached and I'm pretty sure we're up to date on the firmware. Can someone direct me to a resource that will assist in the planning and setup of these LPARS? If someone has been through this process before and used a different method for setting up the Domino server instances, I'd be interested in hearing about your experiences. We have about 1200 mail clients, approx. 300 concurrent at any one time. We have plenty of DASD space available (4TB) and another procesor in our 8203-E4A that we haven't turned on yet.
