Hi
I downloaded this utility and i was able to create a file from journal data,
it works great, i have couple of questions if you don't mind answering
1, can i modify this utility to fit my requirements?
2, What i need to do is to run this utility interactive then in batch
3, Send date and time to this utility so i can control which journal records
i can copy to file
4, Send type of records, i am only looking for UP (image after records only)

What i am trying to do is satisfy a requirement of getting information of
who updated records in a table and when, so instead of trying to create log
files through triggers or programs create log files from journals and store
them in data warehouse for reporting purpose.

Not sure what you are asking, but you might be interested in the EXPJRNE
(Export journal entries) command, here:

http://www.tools400.de/English/Freeware/Utilities/utilities.html

It will create a file of the journal transaction for a specified file,
and the JOESD field will have the names from the original file.
